Skyline varsity baseball faces Dexter Dreadnaughts this Thursday, 4/13 for the season opener.  After a weeklong baseball camp down in Columbia, South Carolina, the boys are ready to face their Huron River rivals. Game begins at 4:30 at Dexter High School.

Varsity baseball opener canceled

This Friday, March 31st, the varsity team will play Harper Woods away.  Game time for the first of the two games begins at 4:00.   3/31/17 UPDATE.  Harper Woods has canceled tonight’s game on account of the weather. Enjoy your Spring Break, and we’ll see you in April!

Noodles & Co. Fundraiser

Tuesday, from 4-9, 50% of all proceeds went toward the Skyline Baseball team. Field Day tomorrow, 3/21

Because opening day is this Wednesday, 3/22, we need to get the field ready for playing. Tentative plan is to have Field Day tomorrow evening.  Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and fairly warm after today’s rains. More information to follow.

Baseball home opener

Next week, on March 22nd, Skyline Baseball has its home opener against Pinckney. Varsity plays first game of the double-header at Skyline at 4:00 and JV’s DH is away at Pinckney with a 4:00 PM start. Forecast is for the weather to be in the mid-40s, so put on some gloves and come support your team!

Baseball Field Day

Attention baseball players and parents. The plan is to have our “Field Day” this Saturday, March 18th, starting around 1:00.  Dress to be outside.  If it is horrid out, we will just do a team meeting inside and call it good. Who knew we should have done this in February?

2017 Baseball Tryouts announced

Baseball Tryouts start Monday March, 13 through Wednesday, March 15th.  If the weather permits, we will be on the baseball field Freshmen and Sophomores from 3-4 Juniors and Seniors from 4-5.
