Darryn Davis went 2-3 at the plate, but the Skyline Eagles Varsity fell 14-5 to Bay City John Glenn at Skyline High School on Friday.

Goodnight recorded the win for Bay City John Glenn. He allowed four runs over five innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered six hits.
Marcus Kintz (1-1) ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed eight runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out seven.
After a quick strike from Bay City John Glenn, the Skyline responded with three runs in the first. The Eagles scored on an error, a groundout by Kintz, and an RBI single by Dawson Horning.
Bay City John Glenn got three-run boosts in each of the second, fifth and sixth. In the second, Bay City John Glenn scored when Fisher drew a bases loaded walk, scoring Mlujeak.
Bay City John Glenn never surrendered the lead after the fourth inning, scoring four runs on an RBI double by Brooks and two singles.
After pushing across one run in the bottom of the sixth, the Skyline Eagles faced just a 14-5 deficit. An RBI single by Ian Frison set off the Skyline Eagles Varsity rally. Bay City John Glenn stopped the rally after Mlujeak got Sean Haddlesey to strike out.
