Game Recap

After an up and down competitive 1st quarter at Romulus with Romulus taking a 23-19 lead into the 2nd quarter, Romulus continued the hot shooting night and was able to get the basket on Skyline’s defensive and rebounding lapses and built a large 58-35 lead going into halftime. Romulus made 14 3-pointers for the game and was hot shooting all night. Romulus won 110-87. Brandon Wade had 32 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Kayron Rodgers led the team with 6 rebounds and 6 points. Jack Ammerman had 14 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Dan Black had 12 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals. Ryan Wade had 9 points. Christian Knox 6 points and 3 rebounds. Darius Hall 4 points and 3 rebounds. Romulus was led in scoring by Kaevon Merriweather with 24 points. Skyline will look to refocus on the defensive and rebounding efforts heading into the final conference game on Friday at home against Bedford.
