Yes, the time has come to start thinking of the 2020 season. I would like to welcome all new and returning players. Last year the Skyline Volleyball Program made history as repeat District Champions, the first time in school history Regional Champions, and a trip to the Final Four for the Class A State Championships in Battle Creek. 2019 was an amazing year for the Skyline Volleyball Program and this season we are hoping to make another run for it!
Pre-Season / Open Gym
Will start late March / Early April time frame
Summer HS Leagues
We participate in the summer high school Rec & Ed league. They run 3 levels and we usually have a team in each. One team is always just incoming freshmen. Sometimes freshmen end up on the JV summer team, because of the number of girls available in the summer and also perhaps from skill level observed during open gyms, but there are no tryouts. This is intended to be a low-pressure opportunity, get to know future teammates and we know that each week some will be away on vacation. Registration information will be sent via email when Rec & Ed opens summer sign-ups. At that time you will fill out a form and pay a fee, usually about $70.
Summer League goes from June 2nd – July 28
Games on Tuesdays
Practice on Mondays
Gold Medal Squared Team Camp
No tryouts for the summer camp. The only restriction is that there is a capacity number, so if you know she wants to participate, submit the registration when it comes out. When registration opens, you will receive info via email.
