Skyline got off to a strong start vs Monroe on Friday clicking on offense and defense to take a 31-9 first quarter lead. Jack Ammerman hit an opening 3 point shot on the first possession. DeSean Munson had multiple dunks that featured great alley-oop passes from Ryan Wade. Brandon Wade sliced to the basket and the pressure defense was great. Skyline extended its lead throughout the game.

DeSean Munson had a breakout game with 20 points and 8 rebounds and was extremely active on both ends of the court. Brandon Wade had his normal outstanding game with 20 points, 5 assists, 5 steals and 4 rebounds. Jack Ammerman was 7 of 8 from the floor including 3 three point baskets for 19 points to go with 6 steals. Ryan Wade passed the ball extremely well in this game with 7 assists to go with his solid defensive effort and 4 points.

Many Skyline players were able to find their way into the scoring column. Jaylin Cooper, Chris Cayton and Spencer Morgan each had 4 points. Kabir Bergin, Charlie Fry and Omar Aggour each had 2 points.

Skyline improves to 13-0 on the season, 6-0 in the SEC RED. Skyline travels to Lansing Waverly next Tuesday.
