Skyline played on back to back days and on this 2nd day of competition Skyline was at the Fast Break Invitational vs Old Redford at Belleville High School on Saturday. Skyline came out and hit some early shots to take an early lead with Ryan Wade and Kabir Bergin. Old Redford continued to battle and use pressure defense and made some shots to narrow the lead. In the first half, Skyline would take a 6 to 8 point lead a couple times and Old Redford would battle back to narrow the gap. Skyline had a 25-22 lead.

In the 3rd quarter, Skyline switched up the defenses some and had more energy on defense and made shots in transition off forced turnovers and went on a big run to push the lead well into double digits and was able to play solid defense down the stretch to win 65-47. Ryan Wade had 25 points and 4 assists. Davion Pipkins had a huge impact on this game with his defensive effort and hustle plays and contributed 12 points driving hard to the basket in transition along with 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Kabir Bergin made some big shots and finished with 11 points. DeSean Munson had 10 points and 5 rebounds.

Skyline will play at home on Tuesday vs Bedford in a conference matchup.
