Skyline and Pioneer played a hard fought, memorable, instant-classic game where both teams made big shot after big shot in the 2nd half until Skyline pulled away late down the stretch with big plays on both ends of the court to finish it off.

Both teams big players made many outstanding shots and plays. Skyline was led by Brandon Wade who finished with a double-double including 30 points and 10 assists to go along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Jack Ammerman showed up huge with 26 points and 2 rebounds and 2 steals on a great defensive effort. Ryan Wade defended Pioneers talented guard Drew Lowder for much of the game and contributed 9 points with 2 rebounds and 2 assists. DeSean Munson had another huge game with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 3 blocks finishing many plays around the basket. Kabir Bergin and Darius Hall also provided great support on both ends working to defend Pioneers Pryor and keeping the flow going on offense.

There were so many great plays in this game that you just had to be there to see the greatness of this high school sports contest and to witness the high level players that we have in this area. Brandon Wade is a sure Mr Basketball top 5 candidate and has our overall top vote as he did it again on both ends of the court scoring 30 points on offense with 10 assists and working to finish the game on the defensive end against the talented Pioneer team when it mattered most to finish the game up 10 points.

Skyline improves to 16-0, 8-0 in the SEC. Skyline will travel to Bedford next Tuesday in another important SEC matchup.
