The Skyline Boys had their home opener on 12/12 at Revel & Roll versus a seasoned Saline squad spoiled with a 28 -2 loss. With Revel & Roll featuring a full house, it made for a fun day of bowling as the hometown crowd was fully engaged in cheering on their Eagles.
Colin Ratkowski started the scoring for the Boys Varsity squad by earning a point versus his game one opponent and George Decker again led the Boys with a match high 181 to earn a point against his game two opponent. Unfortunately, those were the only two points the boys could muster, losing the match to Saline, 28 – 2.
The boys JV team was lead by Alex Evan,s who won both of his individual game matches, and Justin Chang won his second game, gaining a point in his first match of the season, accounting for all three of the team’s points in a 27 – 3 match loss to Saline’s Boys JV team.
Overall, the team is showing improvement and is looking forward to their next match versus their Ann Arbor city rivals in part one of the the battle for A2 supremacy and the Ann Arbor City Bowling “Yet to be named” trophy on Wednesday, December 19th at 3:30 at Revel & Roll.
