Skyline got off to a good solid 1st quarter lead of 15-8 vs Saline with DeSean Munson scoring 4 points and Ryan Wade scoring 9 points along with solid 1/2 court defense. Saline would continue to battle in the 2nd quarter and converted on some drives to the basket and cut the lead to 26-23 for Skyline at half. Skyline came out hot in the 3rd quarter building the lead to double digits and holding Saline to only five 3rd quarter points with solid half court defense. In the 4th quarter, Saline continued to battle and hit some big mid range shots to cut the lead down to 3 in the 4th quarter led by Griffin Yaklich (12 points) and Trevor Arico (15 points). Skyline would answer enough with DeSean Munson scoring 6 big points along with Ryan Wade and Robert Malcolm Jr converting their freethrows 6/7 down the stretch to get the win.

For Skyline Ryan Wade had 22 points. DeSean Munson had 15 points and was big on the boards. Robert Malcolm Jr had 8 points. Chris Cayton, Davion Pipkins and Jaylin Cooper each added 2 points.

Overall, Skyline had stronger offensive and defensive execution and was able to get the win in a hard fought game.

Skyline will host Huron next Tuesday.
