Skyline went and played Detroit Northwestern at Detroit Loyola High School and lost 53-47. Skyline had its ups and downs in the first half with some good execution led by Ryan Wade with 12 first quarter points and Skyline had a 19-16 first quarter lead. Northwestern would continue to battle and keep it close. With about 1:30 left in the first half Skyline saw a quick run to go up 6 points and looked like it was going to keep that lead going into half but Northwestern hit a 3 pointer at the buzzer and Skyline settled for a 29-26 halftime lead.

In a back and forth 3rd quarter, Skyline held onto a 2 point lead going into the 4th quarter 45-43. Skyline in the 4th went cold from the field with many missed shots and had multiple turnovers and Northwestern continued to battle on the offensive glass and ended up earning a hard fought win making free throws down the stretch.

Ryan Wade ended with 25 points and 4 assists. DeSean Munson had 8 points and 13 rebounds. Davion Pipkins had 8 rebounds. Robert Malcolm did a great job handling the ball against the pressure throughout the game with only 1 turnover.

For Northwestern, Steve Pearson had 26 points and Erick Smith had 17 points.

Skyline will play its final regular season game at home vs Ferndale at 7:00 on Friday Feb 22.
