Skyline continued their road trip with a 12/10 match versus Monroe. The Monroe team, still recovering from the loss of their home alley which burned down last week, were gracious hosts at their new home at the Monroe Sports Center. Our hosts displayed great sportsmanship and Skyline enjoyed the spirited matches as the teams cheered on their bowlers, making the spectating atmosphere electric, loud and fun!
Skylines put points on the board for the match but still fell short as the Boys Varsity lost 4.5 – 25.5. The Boys JV squad is still working on their first points of the season, losing 0 – 30 but had a good time competing.
George Decker led the Boys Varsity with a 169 to earn a tie versus his game two opponent. The boys also managed 4 points for winning their Baker game (a Baker game is when each team member takes a turn bowling a frame, so it is a total team effort).
