Skyline finally had their first home match at a very full Revel & Roll on 12/12 match versus Saline. While Saline battled Skyline, Revel & Roll also hosted a concurrent match between AA Huron and Monroe, making for a raucous bowling environment and a crowded parking lot.
Skylines Girls Varsity squad put points on the board for the match but still fell short as the Girls Varsity lost 9 – 21.
In the first individual match-up game, the only girl to earn a point was senior, Zoe Clatterbuck. In the second game, however, the girls came back with their best game of the season, with seniors, Gabrielle Willacker, Zoe Clatterbuck, Isabelle Crumm and sophomore Jocelyn Dooley earning a total of 8 point (1 point for each individual head to head win) plus 4 points for the team game score of 652 pins versus 613 for Saline. Gabrielle, Isabelle and Jocelyn all bowled their personal best games of the season with a 137, 139 and 126, respectively.
Overall, the team is showing improvement and is looking forward to their next match versus their Ann Arbor city rivals in the battle for A2 supremacy on Wednesday, December 19th at 3:30 at Revel & Roll.
The Bowling Eagles hope to have a great school crowd on hand to cheer them on, so come on out and get Revel & Roll, ROCKIN’!
